XBRL International yesterday announced the formation of a new International Standards Board to provide oversight of its development activities, and add assurance that its technical development is of the highest possible quality. Michael Ohata of Microsoft, a globally acknowledged XBRL pioneer, will occupy the new Board's first chair. XBRL announcement
