Time for Paris!
The 2009 XBRL International Conference is being held in Paris starting on June 22. The theme is on reducing the burden of compliance with legislation and regulations, which is an important topic at any time, but especially during these times of restraint. Its such a fascinating field, XBRL is sure to reform the financial industry and hopefully lead to dismissal of such practices as short selling and derivatives which profitable demean our society.
